Raindrops

Raindrops falling
My memories calling

I do not want to be beckon
As I am learning to carry-on

Memories always create a world beautiful
As they come with the times well cherished and wonderful

I am trying not to look at past
Then present goes by very fast

When will I learn
That to create a past wonderful

I need to live
my present bountiful.

Aren't you doing it already? How do you account for such heartfelt poetry? They cannot come from an empty mind without any observation.

HG, :) I am learning as all of us are. You are a true teacher with astute sense of catching student at the most appropriate moment. Just a thought - Even though self realisation is of upmost importance in life, it is not easy to maintain.

Couldn't agree more. Lot of time is spent in past and future and not living in present. Thats why it is called "present - a gift".
Living in present is meditation.
It is good that you have the awareness. Few people do.
